LYO TRIDENT is a biological fungicide based on a beneficial antagonistic fungus, Trichoderma Strains. The product contains the conidial spore and the mycelial fragments at 2 x 106 CFU’s/gm and /ml of the product.
Lyophilization: It is a preservation technique to store microbes to extend shelf life or make the microbes more convenient for agriculture application.
LYO Trident is unique combination of Compatible lyophilized Trichoderma strains such as Viride, atroviride, asperellum, virens andzonatum. It has good fungal repellant microbes. Its IIHR researched Trichoderma consortia Strains and natural antifungal and antibacterial compounds use multiple modes of action to destroy pathogens.
As a foliar spray or soil drench, use LYO TRIDENT alone, in rotation, or tank mix with other crop protection products, to provide an excellent tool for resistance management. LYO TRIDENT is approved for use in organic production, with outstanding plant, human and environmental safety.
EARLY APPLICATION OF LYO TRIDENT PROVIDES PROTECTION AGAINST FUNGAL AND BACTERIAL DISEASES BY COLONIZATION OF PLANT SURFACES AND THROUGH THE DISEASE FIGHTING METABOLITES PRODUCED BY THE FUNGUS THAT DISRUPT AND DESTROY PATHOGEN CELLMEMBRANES.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
+ Controls disease using multi-site modes of action for effective resistance management
+ Shortest REI among fungicides (4 hrs. vs. up to 48 hrs.)
+ Improves resistance to diseases by increasing plant’s natural defenses
+ Performance equal to fungicides products, without the associated risks of phytotoxicity and resistance
+ Leaves virtually no residue on plants or flowers
+ Safe for beneficial insects and predatory insects
+ Compatible with many chemical and biological inputs and tank mixing/rotating
WHERE TO USE
LYO TRIDENT is for use in greenhouse, nursery, landscape, interiors cape, shade house and field (except fruits and vegetables); on ornamentals, trees, shrubs, potted and cut flowers, annuals, perennials, foliage, seedlings, conifers, and fruits and vegetables grown in greenhouse/nursery.
Trichoderma is mainly used to control soil-borne diseases as well as some leaf and panicle diseases of various plants. Trichoderma can not only prevent diseases but also promotes plant growth, improves nutrient utilization efficiency, enhances plant resistance, and improves agrochemical pollution environment. Trichoderma spp. also behaves as a safe, low-cost, effective, eco-friendly biocontrol agent for different crop species. The biological control mechanism of Trichoderma in plant fungal and nematode disease, including competition, antibiosis, antagonism, and mycoparasitism, as well as the mechanism of promoting plant growth and inducing plant systemic resistance between Trichoderma and plants, and expounded on the application and control effects of Trichoderma in the control of various plant fungal and nematode diseases. From an applicative point of view, establishing a diversified application technology for Trichoderma is an important development direction for its role in the sustainable development of agriculture.
