Mode Of Action Averse is found to suppress the soil borne disease caused by pathogens they are well adopted in soil and foliar spray, enhance plant growth and yield. Pseudomonas has the special ability to enter the plant vascular system, reach the various part of the plant system and act as a systematic bio contril agent against various fungal and bancterial diseases. They help in uptake of nutrient and also produce plant growth promoting substances. Iron chelating siderophore antibiotic, hydrogen cyanide and lytic enzymes (Cellulase, Chitnase an protease) produced by Pseudomonas are directly involved in the reduction of plant pathogen and induce plant resistance.

Pseudomonas fluorescens are Gram-negative rod shaped aerobic bacteria that inhabit soil, plants, and water surfaces. It is used as a bio-control agent against several plant disease causing pathogens. Pseudomonas fluorescens produces a soluble, green fluorescent pigment pyoverdine which is responsible for chelating iron only when concentrations are low. Pseudomonas fluorescens are commensal species with plants, allowing plants to attain key nutrients, degrading pollutants, and suppressing pathogens via antibiotic productions.

Pseudomonas fluorescens with a spore load of 2 x 10^8 CFU per gram. The rhizobacterium biocontrol agent effectively controls fungal and bacterial pathogens causing bacterial blight, sheath blight, root rot, red rot, damping off and wilt diseases. Pseudomonas fluorescens is use in organic farming.
